A new investigative report has shed light on a secret “security committee” in Ethiopia. The “Koree Nageenyaa” is accused of widespread human rights violations in Ethiopia’s Oromia region. The committee was formed after Prime Minister Abiy Ahmed took office, allegedly at his instigation. Is Abiy Ahmed behind Ethiopia’s Gestapo-like “security committee”?
